This channel is about learning economics from the ground up and gradually building a deeper understanding of how economies work.
We are going to start with the basics. What is economics? Why do prices change? What causes inflation? How do markets work? Why do businesses make the decisions they do? What role does the government play in the economy?
As we progress, the questions will become more complex. We will explore money and banking, economic growth, international trade, inequality, development, monetary and fiscal policy, economic crises, and eventually some of the more advanced ideas used by economists.
The goal is not to memorize definitions or complicated formulas. The goal is to understand the ideas behind them and see how they apply to the real world.
Each post in this series will focus on one concept. We will explain the idea in simple language, use real-world examples, connect it to concepts we have already learned, and gradually build toward more advanced topics.
The series will move from basic economics to intermediate concepts, then to advanced economics and real-world applications.
You do not need a background in economics to follow along. We are starting from the beginning and building from there.
If you are a student, professional, researcher, entrepreneur, or simply someone who wants to understand the forces that shape our everyday lives, this series is for you.
This is the beginning of our journey.
The first lesson is coming next: What Is Economics?
