Child Safety Standards
Ur Next Door has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to everything on the Service: posts, questions, answers, comments, communities, profiles, marketplace listings, job posts and private chat, on the website and in our apps.
What is prohibited
- Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), real, drawn or generated, including by AI.
- Sexualising a child in any way, or content that endangers or exploits a child.
- Grooming: contacting or befriending a child in order to abuse or exploit them.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or offering or seeking children for any sexual purpose.
- Sharing or asking for links to any of the above.
The Service is not for children under 13, and members under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent (Terms of Use, Section 2).
How to report
- In the app or on the website: use Report on the content or on the member's profile, and block the member.
- By email: write to support@urnextdoor.com with the link to the content or profile. Do not attach or forward the material itself.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. In India, you can also report on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
What we do
- We remove the content and terminate the account responsible.
- We preserve what the law requires and report it to the relevant authorities, including law enforcement in India, and cooperate with their investigations.
- We treat child safety reports ahead of every other report.
Child safety contact
Our designated contact for child safety, including for law enforcement and app stores, is support@urnextdoor.com.
