What does the ATS score check?
Contact details, standard section headings, summary length, dated roles, bullets that start with an action and show numbers, first person, long bullets, the number of skills, education, overall length and clichés. With a job description it also lists the job's keywords your CV is missing.
Why does pasted text score differently from the builder?
Pasted text has lost its structure, so the checker finds sections by their headings. A CV made in the CV Builder is scored on its exact fields, which is more precise.
Does a high score guarantee an interview?
No. The score measures how readable and complete your CV is for applicant tracking systems and how well it matches the job description. Recruiters still decide.
