I’ve been exploring how resume processing can be made more useful beyond simply reading text from a CV.

The bigger challenge is turning different resume files into information that an application can actually use. A Resume OCR API can help extract details such as candidate information, education, skills, experience, companies, job titles, and certifications from resumes and CVs.

Once this information is structured, it can be used to create profiles, populate application fields, organize candidate records, or build searchable resume databases.

This becomes especially useful when an application needs to handle resumes coming in different layouts and formats without depending on manual data entry.
