Quantum efficiency reconfigurable 16 bit adder using reversible gates

“Quantum efficient reconfigurable 16-bit adder is a reversible logic based arithmetic circuit used for low power and quantum computing applications.
The circuit performs both addition and subtraction operations using reversible gates like Feynman, Peres and Toffoli gates. A control signal is used for reconfiguration.
When control input is 0, the circuit works as a normal 16-bit adder and adds two binary inputs A and B. When control input is 1, the B input is complemented and 1 is added, so the circuit performs subtraction using 2’s complement method.
The design consists of sixteen reversible full adder blocks connected in cascade form. Each block generates sum and carry outputs without losing information. The carry output of one stage is connected to the next stage.
